Jack Conklin
OL - Cleveland Browns
2024 Outlook
Jack Conklin (knee) will undergo surgery on a torn ACL and MCL that will knock him out for the rest of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Conklin was carted off the field early into Sunday's game after suffering a knee injury, and it's now being diagnosed as a torn ACL and MCL that will require season-ending surgery. This is a tough blow for the Browns, as they'll likely have to have rookie fourth-rounder Dawand Jones step into a starting role. This is also less than ideal for Nick Chubb, who has been so dominant as a rusher thanks in part to the great offensive line that Cleveland has bolstered over the past few years.
Browns OL Jack Conklin was carted off the field with an apparent knee injury.
Fantasy Impact
Conklin suffered a knee injury when Bengals DE Trey Henderickson collided with Conklin’s knee. The veteran lineman remained down on the field and was clearly in pain. This would be a big loss for the Browns’ offense if this injury is long term. Rookie Dawand Jones has replaced Conklin.
Jack Conklin exited Monday’s practice early with the training staff to be evaluated for a possible concussion.
Fantasy Impact
Conklin was one of many Browns’ players that exited Monday’s joint practice with the Eagles early. The Browns should update the status of Conklin the next time Kevin Stefanski speaks to the media.
Browns and right tackle Jack Conklin reached agreement today on a four-year, $60 million extension that includes $31 million fully guaranteed.
Fantasy Impact
Conklin was scheduled to be a free agent this offseason. The Browns continue to boast one of the best offensive lines in the league and that is led by Conklin, who tore his patella tendon just last season.
Jack Conklin is expected to play in Week 3 on Thursday against the Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
Conklin is set to make his season debut after logging limited practices all week. His return should provide a big boost to Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt in the Browns run game.
