Week 13 Outlook
Browns beat reporter Scott Petrak is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have released WR Jaelen Strong.
Strong was competing for a roster spot, but came up short following a poor showing in the third preseason game.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jaelen Strong caught three passes for 14 yards and a touchdown in his team's 21-18 preseason win over the Colts on Saturday.
Strong and Garrett Gilbert hooked up for a four-yard score in the first quarter. The wideout is looking to make the team after playing for two different teams through his first three years in the league. Strong has five catches for 41 yards through two preseason contests.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jaelen Strong caught two passes for 27 yards in a 30-10 win over Washington in his team's preseason opener on Thursday.
Strong appeared in just one game with the Jaguars last season, catching three passes. The former third-round pick is fighting for a roster spot during camp.
The Jacksonville Jaguars released wide receiver Jaelen Strong.
A former third-round pick by the Houston, Strong was suspended and waived by the Texans in Week 2 of last season before being claimed on waivers by the Jaguars. Strong only saw action in one game, logging 43 snaps in Week 16 before tearing his ACL. Still just 24, Strong will get another shot when he's healthy, but there's no reason to expect any fantasy impact in 2018.
After being released by the Houston Texans on Monday, Jaelen Strong has officially been claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars are a wide receiver needy team after losing Allen Robinson to a season ending injury in Week 1. Strong wasn't able to make an impact in Houston, but could be forced into an immediate role with his new team. He is worth a speculative add in deeper leagues.
