The Falcons agreed to terms with P Jake Bailey on a three-year, $9 million contract.
Fantasy Impact
The deal includes $5 million in guaranteed money. He'll take over the starting punting job in Atlanta.
The Miami Dolphins re-signed P Jake Bailey to a two-year, $4.2 million contract.
Fantasy Impact
Bailey will have the ability to make up to $5 million with his new deal. He landed a one-year deal with Miami last offseason and will remain the starter.
The New England Patriots have agreed to terms on a four-year, $13.5 million contract extension with punter Jake Bailey.
Fantasy Impact
This deal makes a lot of sense for both sides, with Bailey becoming one of the highest paid punters in the NFL with this deal, and the Patriots locking in a key special teams player long term. Punters aren't game changers, but having a good one that can flip field positioning is very important in today's NFL. The Patriots recognize this, and they should continue to have a good special teams unit as always.
