On national tight end day, Tonges joined fellow tight end George Kittle in the endzone. However, since Kittle is back in the lineup, Tonges won't be fantasy relevant unless Kittle misses more time down the stretch.

Tonges was good as a full-in TE option once again in Week 6. He didn’t find the end zone, but was more than usable in PPR formats. His time as a fantasy relevant player may be coming to an end, however, with George Kittle expected back potentially in Week 7.

Tonges stepped up and saw more work again on Thursday night with George Kittle (hamstring) still out of the lineup for San Francisco. He did well for them, catching seven passes and scoring once in a close win over the Rams. Despite the good showing, he remains an unreliable asset for fantasy purposes.
