Jalen Coker inked his exclusive rights free agent tender on Monday to remain in Carolina for the 2026 season.
Fantasy Impact
Coker was tendered by Carolina in early March and made his return to the team official on Monday. The wideout, who will enter his third NFL season in 2026, caught 33 passes for 394 and three touchdowns in 11 games last season - very similar to the 32-478-2 line he posted as a rookie in 2024, also in 11 games. However, in last year's Wild Card round loss to the Rams, Coker hauled in nine passes for 134 yards and a score, which could signal another step forward in 2026 as he and quarterback Bryce Young continue to grow and get on the same page together.
The Panthers tendered exclusive rights free agent Jalen Coker.
Fantasy Impact
Coker came onto the scene late last season and into the playoffs after he missed time early in the regular season. Panthers coach Dave Canales gave him a vote of confidence as the team's No. 2 wide receiver earlier this offseason.
Panthers coach Dave Canales said Jalen Coker “will enter the offseason as the No. 2 receiver” for Carolina.
Fantasy Impact
Coker missed the first part of this past season, but he was able to finish the year strong into the postseason. He had drawn some hype in Panthers camp last offseason before his injury. He'll be on the WR3/WR4 range for fantasy managers heading into next season.
Jalen Coker caught 6-of-7 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Coker caught a late touchdown as Carolina attempted to make a comeback at the end of the game. He finished the year strong with all three of his touchdowns in the final five weeks. He'll look to carry that momentum into the postseason.
Jalen Coker caught 2-of-2 targets for 16 yards in the Panthers 27-10 loss against the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
Coker's 16 receiving yards led Carolina on the day. He will be an upside WR3 in Week 18 against the Bucs with the division and a playoff spot on the line.
