Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters Jalen Royals received first-team reps in practice on Thursday.

There is an opening in the Chiefs wide receiver room with Rashee Rice away from the team. "With Rashee not here, it gives Jalen some great reps at the wide receiver position," Reid said. "He looks strong out here. Running well. It's great for him. It's great for him and the quarterbacks to see what he's all about."
