Jamel Dean

Jamel Dean (ankle) will be listed as questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Impact

The veteran is still on Pittsburgh's injury report due to an ankle issue and is uncertain to play in Week 3 as a result. If he's ruled out, the Steelers' secondary will be weaker than usual against the Bengals, doubly so if Joey Porter Jr. (back) is also ruled out ahead of game time.

Jamel Dean (ankle) was listed as limited participant at practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

The veteran cornerback returned to practice and was able to participate in a limited fashion on Thursday, which bodes well for his Week 3 availability. His presence will be very important this week in a tough matchup against Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and the rest of Cincinnati's stacked offense this week.

Jamel Dean returned to practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Dean opened the week missing practice on Wednesday. He'll need to be monitored in practice again on Friday.

The Steelers are signing CB Jamel Dean to a three-year deal worth $36.75 million.

Fantasy Impact

Dean lands in Pittsburgh after drawing plenty of interest in free agency. The Steelers continue to make moves in their secondary after also trading Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Jets earlier in the day.

The Giants are reportedly interested in signing Jamel Dean.

Fantasy Impact

Dean is slated to be one of the top corners available in free agency next week. He battled multiple injuries last season, but he still totaled three interceptions.
