James Bradberry
CB - Philadelphia Eagles
2024 Outlook
James Bradberry (concussion) practiced at full capacity on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Bradberry was unavailable to play in Week 2 while going through the NFL's concussion protocols. He has now gotten through them, however, and returned to log a full practice on Friday. He should be good to go for Week 3, and that's great news for Philadelphia's defense in what could be a tougher matchup against Tampa Bay's receivers.
James Bradberry, who suffered a concussion in the Eagles' Week 1 win over New England, has been ruled out for the team's Thursday matchup vs. Minnesota.
Fantasy Impact
Bradberry re-signed with the Eagles this offseason after a very successful 2022 campaign, and he and Darius Slay form a formidable CB tandem. However, with Bradberry slated to miss this game as well as safety Reed Blakenship, the Eagles' secondary is very suspect heading into a matchup against what should be a very pass-heavy Vikings offense. Slay will probably shadow Justin Jefferson, but K.J. Osborn and Jordan Addison could see an increase in production, given the lack of depth in the Philly secondary.
Eagles CB James Bradberry is in concussion protocol, per head coach Nick Sirianni.
Fantasy Impact
The Eagles will likely be without their veteran cornerback in Week 2 with the team set to take on Minnesota on Thursday night. With the quick turnaround, the Eagles will likely play it safe and look for Bradberry to return in Week 3. Josh Jose and Kelee Ringo will likely see additional snaps against the Vikings if Bradberry is ruled out.
James Bradberry will not practice Friday due to a groin injury.
Fantasy Impact
The injury is not considered serious and Bradberry is considered day-to-day for now. The Eagles are likely just being cautious with the veteran corner this early in training camp.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back CB James Bradberry on a three-year deal worth $38 million.
Fantasy Impact
Bradberry had a bounce-back season that ended in an All-Pro nod for the 29-year-old CB who has had double-digit passes defended in all seven years of his career. The Eagles had been reportedly allowing CB Darius Slay to seek a trade, but they gave Bradberry $20 million guaranteed. If they keep Slay, they will be returning one of the better CB duos in the NFL.
