Janoris Jenkins receiving trade interest

Janoris Jenkins has been the topic of speculation as teams are reportedly "sniffing" around the veteran CB ahead of next week's trade deadline.

Fantasy Impact

There are several teams in on Jenkins that are in need of CB help. Jenkins has been inconsistent on the field, but he has shown upside as a near shutdown corner.

Janoris Jenkins has dead body found in his home

TMZ is reporting that a dead body was found at Giants starting cornerback Janoris Jenkins' home in New Jersey.

Fantasy Impact

A horrible situation, though Jenkins is reportedly not a suspect in the crime. As it turns out, it was a friend of his who was staying in his house while Jenkins was out of state in Florida with the Giants. There will likely be more details on this story to come, as it's being invested as a strangulation/suffocation homicide.

Janoris Jenkins active for Week 3

NFL Network's Kim Jones is reporting New York Giants DB Janoris Jenkins (ankle) is officially active for Week 3.

Fantasy Impact

With Jenkins active, he'll likely blanket Eagles wideout Alshon Jeffery for most of the day. However, since he is coming off an ankle injury, he may not be 100 percent, which works in Jeffery's favor. Sill, I'd temper expectations for Jeffery in this one. He is a risky mid-tier WR2, who could be TD-dependent, for Week 3.
