Jaret Patterson
RB - WAS
2023 Outlook
The Washington Commanders signed RB Jaret Patterson to the team's active roster following RB Antonio Gibson being placed on injured reserve.
Fantasy Impact
Gibson and Brian Robinson will both miss the team's final game of the season against the Dallas Cowboys. RB Jonathan Williams saw a season-high 12 touches in Week 17 for 33 yards. Williams will likely be the team's lead back, but Patterson will also be active as Washington carries just two RBs into the final game.
Jaret Patterson was released by the Commanders as they go through the final cutting process.
Fantasy Impact
Patterson made the Commanders roster last season as an undrafted RB out of the University of Buffalo. He had over 250 rushing yards and a couple of TDs last season, but the addition of Brian Robinson Jr. to an already crowded backfield has ultimately forced the Commanders' hand. It appears as though they will be keeping Jonathan Williams on the team as the fourth back.
Washington running back Jaret Patterson rushed 12 times for 57 yards and a touchdown and caught all five of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Patterson got the start on Sunday with J.D. McKissic on injured reserve and Antonio Gibson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and made the most of his opportunity, totaling 98 yards and scoring a touchdown.
Washington running back Jaret Patterson rushed nine times for 33 yards in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
Through 15 games, Patterson has rushed 50 times for 188 yards and caught three of his four targets for 18 yards.
Washington running back Jaret Patterson rushed four times for 20 yards and a touchdown in Tuesday's loss to the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Patterson received just four carries on Tuesday but was able to convert a short touchdown run. He could see an increased role down the stretch with J.D. McKissic landing on injured reserve, but he will continue to serve a complementary role as long as Antonio Gibson is healthy.
