Jason Myers missed two field goal attempts on Saturday night but the Seahawks still managed a 13-3 win over San Francisco to clinch the top seed in the NFC.

Myers had made 18 straight field goal attempts before his miss from 47 yards out early in the second quarter. He also missed on Seattle's last drive of the game when he hit the right upright from 26 yards away. Myers did have makes of 45 yards and 31 yards and also converted his only extra point attempt. Myers finishes with career highs in field goals made (41) and field goal attempts (48) while also converting a perfect 48-of-48 on PATs.

Myers remains one of the top kickers in the NFL this season. He is 39-of-44 on field goals this year.

After his historic six-field goal performance in Seattle's Week 15 win over the Colts, Jason Myers was not a factor in the Seahawks' 38-37 overtime win over the Rams on Thursday night. Myers did not attempt a field goal and converted both point after attempts in the Week 16 thriller.

While Myers' performance could not have come at a worse time for fantasy owners vying for league titles, this was certainly a game script issue. With Seattle trailing 30-14 in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks could not afford to settle for field goals - or even PATs - during their rally. Myers was left on the sidelines as Seattle converted three straight two-point tries in the fourth quarter and OT. Myers entered having connected on at least three field goal attempts in six straight games and he still leads the NFL with 155 points. For those Myers owners fortunate enough to advance, expect him to bounce back in Week 17 against the Panthers.

Myers won the game for Seattle as he scored all 18 points on the day for the team. His final kick won them the game with a 56-yarder with 11 seconds left. Myers has now made at least three field goals in six straight games as he continues to carry fantasy managers who have been starting him.
