Jayden Higgins
WR - Houston Texans
Availability
Jayden Higgins caught five of seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 36-29 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins had the second most snaps on the team, beating Xavier Hutchinson by a handful and Christian Kirk by nearly a dozen. What's interesting to note, however, is that Hutchinson wasn't targeted and Kirk was targeted three times, so Higgins more than doubled their combined target share. Could this be when things finally break right for the rookie? It's possible. Why the Texans haven't moved in his direction from Xavier Hutchinson is puzzling, but it might finally be that time.
Jayden Higgins secured his only target for four yards in Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins enjoyed his best game as a pro to date in Week 8's win over the 49ers, but he was barely a factor this Sunday. Nico Collins and Christian Kirk were back in the mix for the Texans this time out, so that significantly affected Higgins' role. The rookie is a bench stash for fantasy purposes right now.
Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins recorded a team-high eight targets and four catches for 34 yards and a score in a win against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins has become more active in recent weeks, recording three or more targets in each of the last three weeks. While he was not too efficient with his targets this week, he did record his second career touchdown and could continue to expand his role if Nico Collins and Christian Kirk remain out.
Jayden Higgins did not record a reception on his three targets in Monday's 27-19 loss to the Seahawks in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact
More was expected from Higgins, who played a season-high 48 snaps with Christian Kirk (hamstring) inactive. However, the entire Texans' passing attack struggled against Seattle. This was the first game all season Higgins was held without a catch. His role may remain elevated in Week 8 against San Francisco, as top receiver Nico Collins is now in the concussion protocol.
Jayden Higgins caught 4-of-4 targets for 32 yards in the Texans 44-10 win over the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins saw a season high in targets and receptions in the win Sunday. The 22-year-old has not seen enough volume to be fantasy viable right now, barring an increased role once the Texans come out of their Week 6 bye.
