Horsted will join the roster to provide depth at tight end. He appeared in 13 games for the Raiders last season, recording just one catch for four yards on his lone target.

The Las Vegas Raiders have listed TE Jesper Horstead as inactive for Thursday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams.

Horstead will be inactive for the Raiders for the second week in a row, setting the way for TEs Foster Moreau and Jacob Hollister to lead the team. The Raiders are also making CB Rock Ya-Sin, LB Jayon Brown, C Hroniss Grasu, DE Tashawn Bower and DT Andrew Billings inactive.

Jesper Horsted caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in the Raiders' loss on Monday night. Horsted played 32 snaps in the game after Darren Waller left early with a hamstring injury.

As the Raiders have a bye next week, either Waller or Foster Moreau will likely be able to go in Week 7, coming off their injuries. However, if they both remain sidelined, Horsted could serve as a deep league streamer against Houston.

Horsted hasn't had much of an impact over the last two seasons, catching just 10 passes for 108 yards. However, the new regime in Chicago likely views him as Jimmy Graham's successor, meaning Horsted could be utilized more in the end zone next season. He has already shown promise as a target around the goal line as three of his 10 receptions have resulted in a touchdown. Still, at most, he's a depth opinion for tight end-needy teams in very deep dynasty formats.
