Jimmy Wilson

2024 Outlook
JImmy Wilson has signed a two-year deal worth $4.85 million with the San Diego Chargers. Wilson, who has played the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, grew up in San Diego.
Fantasy Impact
Wilson is primarily a slot defender, but has also started at safety for the Dolphins. Last season, he set a career-high 59 tackles with an interception. Career numbers thus far: 154 tackles, four interceptions, two sacks and three forced fumbles.
Jimmy Wilson finished the game with six solo tackles. He has seen more action with Louis Delmas out for the season.
Fantasy Impact
We'll have to see how the safety situation shakes out in the offseason. Wilson has been a productive player and has a lot of scheme versatility. If the team moves on from Delmas we would expect his role to continue to grow.
With Cortland Finnegan listed as doubtful for Monday night's game versus the New York Jets, safety Jimmy Wilson will start at corner back for the Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact
Expect the Jets to try to test Wilson in the passing game, but there won't be much opportunity there anyways. He's not a good start except in the deepest of IDP leagues.
Jimmy Wilson may line up at CB this Monday night versus the New York Jets. He would start opposite Brent Grimes if Cortland Finnegan can't go.
Fantasy Impact
It's hard to imagine putting Wilson in your lineup after this news. The matchup versus the Jets isn't a good one for a DB, much less from the CB position. Leave Wilson out of your line up for now.
Jimmy Wilson recorded five solo tackles and zero assists against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
A good game here from Wilson. Not a lot of opportunity going forward though. Outside the top 50 at SS.
