Joel Bitonio
OL - Cleveland Browns
Week 6 Outlook
Availability
Joel Bitonio said he hopes to "bounce back physically" after several 2023 injuries.
Fantasy Impact
Bitonio had been durable his whole career until last season when a knee injury forced him to have arthroscopic surgery. He later suffered ankle and back injuries. He'll hope to bounce back physically this year.
Joel Bitonio has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact
The Browns will be missing Bitonio on the offensive line and Deshaun Watson undercenter against San Francisco this weekend. It will be P.J. Walker undercenter for Cleveland.
Joel Bitonio was not at practice on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Bitonio missed practice all week, putting him on track to being sidelined for Sunday's game against the 49ers. The Browns are quite banged up with Deshaun Watson (shoulder) also ruled out.
Joel Bitonio is expected to play in Week 3 on Thursday against the Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
After being estimated as a non-participant in practice on Monday before missing practice on Tuesday, Bitonio practiced Wednesday and he is off the injury report ahead of Thursday night's game against Pittsburgh.
The Cleveland Browns moved left guard Joel Bitonio to left tackle with the first-team offense during practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Bitonio has been an excellent left guard over his four-year career but the Browns have a huge hole at left tackle following the retirement of Joe Thomas. Linemen Shon Coleman and Greg Robinson were both in the mix to start at left tackle but neither has impressed in training camp. If Bitonio stays on the outside, look for rookie Austin Corbett to take over as the starting left guard.
