Former Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave was waived by the Minnesota Vikings Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
The Vikings' release of Stave isn't particularly surprising given the teams' acquisition of former first-rounder Sam Bradford. Had the team decided to roll with Shaun Hill as the starter following Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury, Stave would've made the roster. Things being as they are, however, the Vikings will likely use Stave on their practice squad.
