QB - LAR
This Week Outlook
Rams QB John Wolford (neck) has been ruled out for Saturday's Divisional Round matchup against the Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Wolford suffered the neck injury early on in Wild Card Weekend against Seattle. Jared Goff (thumb) will be thrust into the starting role after his own injury was serious enough for him not to start last weekend.
Rams QB John Wolford (neck) was unable to participate in Wednesday's practice.
Fantasy Impact
Wolford received the start against the Seahawks last weekend before exiting in the first quarter after taking a brutal hit from Jamal Adams. After an ambulance was called in to take Wolford to a local hospital, Jared Goff stepped in to lead the Rams to a 30-20 win to advance to the divisional round against the Packers. Wolford continues to miss practice with the neck injury he suffered against Seattle and is not expected to be cleared to return for Saturday's divisional matchup in Green Bay.
Rams QB John Wolford (neck) was sidelined during Tuesday's walkthrough practice.
Fantasy Impact
Meanwhile, Jared Goff (thumb) was a "full" participant. Early signs point towards Goff starting this one at less than 100 percent. Wolford's neck will be monitored throughout the week to see if he can back up Goff against the Packers.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rams QB John Wolford (neck) "should be ok."
Fantasy Impact
Wolford spent Saturday afternoon in the hospital but returned to Los Angeles later at night. Both Rams' QBs, Wolford (neck) and Jared Goff (thumb) are banged up now. Our guess is that Goff winds up starting in the Divisional Round, but we'll monitor the practice reports throughout the week.
Rams QB John Wolford exited the Rams’ Wild Card game against the Seahawks after taking a hit to the head in the first quarter.
Fantasy Impact
Jared Goff (thumb) has entered the game in his place. He wasn’t healthy enough to start this one but is apparently healthy enough to still play. We’ll update Wolford’s status once more is known.
