RB - IND - Questionable
Week 6 Outlook
Jordan Wilkins carried one time for a negative yard on Sunday as the Colts beat the Bengals by a 31-27 score in Week 6 action.
Wilkins has seen just one carry in each of his last two games as the 26-year-old running back is dealing with a calf injury. Even if Wilkins is 100% healthy he is still behind Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines on the depth chart and is not worth owning in fantasy.
Colts RB Jordan Wilkins (calf) is officially active for Week 6.
Wilkins was listed as questionable after not practicing on either Thursday or Friday. This limits the fantasy ceiling of Jonathan Taylor, but there's a chance Wilkins will only be used on an emergency basis. The matchup against the Bengals is a juicy one for the Colts' running game.
Colts backup RB Jordan Wilkins (calf) is officially listed as questionable for Week 6 vs. the Bengals.
Wilkins did not participate in practice Thursday or Friday this week after logging a limited session on Wednesday. Being as he received nine carries each of Week’s 2-4, the expectation would be that starting RB Jonathan Taylor would see more carries should Wilkins miss the game against the Bengals. Taylor has a great matchup on Sunday, and could catapult into RB1 territory this weekend, especially if Wilkins is ruled out.
Jordan Wilkins carried one time for a yard as the Colts lost to the Browns on Sunday by a 32-23 score in Week 5 action.
Wilkins continues to struggle to see the ball in the Colts offense as he is behind Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Unless there is an injury, Wilkins is not worth owning in fantasy leagues.
Jordan Wilkins rushed nine times for 15 yards and caught one pass for an additional 16 yards on Sunday as the Colts beat the Bears by a 19-11 score.
Wilkins has picked up nine carries in each of his last three games. But on Sunday he could not find any running room. Wilkins is sharing the backup role at running back with Nyheim Hines behind lead back Jonathan Taylor and is only worth owning as a handcuff.
