The New Orleans Saints have selected WR Jordyn Tyson with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Tyson becomes the second wide receiver taken in the first eight picks of the 2026 NFL Draft. After transferring from Colorado, Tyson led Arizona State in receiving yards in each of his last two seasons. He does, however, come with a long medical track record with a horrible knee injury in 2022 (ACL, MCL, PCL), a broken collarbone in 2024, and a hamstring injury in 2025. Last year, the Saints' second receiver, behind Chris Olave, was Devaughn Vele who finished with 25 catches for 293 yards in 2025. So, Tyson should start opposite Olave in New Orleans from day one and form an exciting receiving duo for second-year QB Tyler Shough.
Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson is hosting a workout on Friday in Arizona with 18 NFL teams expected to be in attendance.
Fantasy Impact
Tyson has had injury concerns, but he's still expected to be one of the top wide receivers drafted next week. There will be over half the league in attendance for his workout on Friday.
Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson is set to visit the Saints ahead of the draft.
Fantasy Impact
The Saints hold the No. 8 pick in this month's draft. Tyson announced he will be holding an individual workout day for teams on April 17.
Arizona St. WR Jordyn Tyson will hold his own individual workout day for NFL teams on April 17.
Fantasy Impact
Tyson will host the workout day at Arizona State. There have been some concerns over his health as we get closer to the NFL Draft later in April. He is a projected first-round pick.
