Joshua Palmer
WR - LAC
This Week Outlook
Joshua Palmer didn't secure his only target in Sunday's win against the Los Angeles Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer's usage in the Chargers' offense was bound to go down with Mike Williams and Keenan Allen healthy. He will remain the third WR on the depth chart next week against the Denver Broncos.
Joshua Palmer caught two of three targets for 16 yards in Monday night's win against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer was an excellent fill-in option while Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were out due to injury, but with both WRs back he has fallen back into the deep streaming category. If Justin Herbert were having the season expected of him, Palmer could have been a viable flex option, but with Herbert struggling it's too risky to start Palmer in the fantasy final against the Los Angeles Rams.
Joshua Palmer caught all five of his targets for 49 yards in Sunday's win against the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact
With Mike Williams and Keenan Allen back and healthy, Palmer is back in his original role as the third WR on the depth chart. If the Chargers' offense were clicking like many expected this season, he'd be a possible spot starter, but the Chargers have scored more than 30 points only twice this year. The lack of offensive consistency relegates Palmer to a bench stash.
Joshua Palmer caught four of six targets for 53 yards in Sunday night's win against the Miami Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact
With Keenan Allen back for the last three weeks and the return of Mike Williams this week, Palmer has fallen back to the fourth receiving option. He even saw two less targets than Gerald Everett on Sunday, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy finish down the stretch. As long as Allen and Williams remain healthy, Palmer is relegated to a DFS dart throw, even in a plus matchup against the Titans next week. He remains a stash candidate however, as the two WRs ahead of him haven't been a pillar of health this season.
Joshua Palmer caught seven of 11 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer's yards and receptions equated to a modest 13 fantasy points in PPR on Sunday, making him a low-end WR3, high-end flex option. That's pretty much what can be expected each week with Palmer as long as Mike Williams remains sidelined. Next week's matchup against the Miami Dolphins could be a barnburner, which would bump up his value slightly.
