Josh Robinson utilized minimally in Colts win

Robinson rushed twice for eight yards in the Colts 35-33 win over the Titans in Week 3. He was not targeted in the passing game.

Fantasy Impact

With Frank Gore running hard and scoring two TDs, Robinson was relegated to a couple of rushes. For all the excitement surrounding his possibilities in the offseason, it is clear he is nothing more than a handcuff and should not be owned in all formats, barring a Gore injury.

Josh Robinson nets 39 total yards in loss to Jets

Josh Robinson rushed five times for 12 yards and caught five balls for 27 yards, in a 20-7 loss to the Jets.

Fantasy Impact

Josh Robinson netted 39 yards on the ground and thru the air. Robinson between rushing and receiving touched the ball a total of 10 times. However, at this point, Robinson is nothing more then a handcuff to starting RB Frank Gore.

Josh Robinson to back up Frank Gore

Josh Robinson is expected to enter the regular season as the primary backup to RB Frank Gore. The other contender for the role, Vick Ballard, aggravated his hamstring injury in the final preseason game.

Fantasy Impact

Robinson is recovering from injury (concussion) himself, but he's expected to suit up Week 1. He would become very fantasy relevant should anything happen to Gore this season.

Josh Robinson has a solid game

Rookie Indianapolis Colts running back Josh Robinson had a very nice day in his first appearance against the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be one fighting for a good spot on the depth chart with the filled running back position the Colts currently have.

Fantasy Impact

Josh Robinson has more dynasty impact than in redraft leagues. Robinson was drafted to eventually take over for Frank Gore. He rushed 10-44-1 in his opening day appearance as a pro.

RB Josh Robinson could be called by Detroit?

According to Rotoworld's Evan Silva, Mississippi State running back Josh Robinson could be a fit for the Lions.

Fantasy Impact

Robinson didn't have an impressive pro-day, running the 40 in 4.7 seconds which ranked 23rd amongst all running backs. Still, there are flashes of great vision and the skills needed to beat first contact. The Lions already have their between the tackles rusher in Joique Bell, so Robinson wouldn't contribute much his rookie season barring injury, but he could have some interest in dynasty leagues.
