Justin Forsett retires

Former Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett has announced his retirement from NFL.

Fantasy Impact

Forsett is retiring from the NFL after nine seasons. He spent the first four years of his career with the Seahawks from 2008-2012 and was a journeyman for the remaining five years with stints in Houston (2013), Jacksonville (2014), Baltimore (2014-2016), and Denver (2016). Forsett is expected to land a television role with the NFL Network moving forward.

Justin Forsett rushes 22 times for 90 yards in finale

Justin Forsett rushed 22 times for 90 yards in the Broncos Week 17 win against the Raiders.

Fantasy Impact

Justin Forsett had his most productive outing in a Broncos uniform in Week 17 as he continued to both out-snap and out-touch Devontae Booker. The bulk of his production came off of a 64-yard scamper after breaking a multiple tackles. Forsett's future in Denver is uncertain and most wouldn't be surprised if he called it a career. Forsett will finish his season with just 291 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Justin Forsett finds end zone in Week 16

Justin Forsett rushed five times for 11 yards and a score in the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact

Forsett averaged only 2.2 yards per carry in what was yet another lackluster performance for Denver's run game. The team totaled only 63 rushing yards as a whole on the evening. Forsett will likely not be on Denver's roster next season and will be a "what the heck" flex play for fantasy teams that play into Week 17 when the Broncos face the Raiders.

Justin Forsett plays lead role in Denver backfield in Week 15

Justin Forsett gained 37 yards on 10 carries and caught four of five targets for 16 yards on Sunday against the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Forsett was heavily involved in the first quarter, producing half of his touches for the entire game. Although Devontae Booker got more work later in the game, Forsett still out-touched Booker 14 to eight. Expect Forsett to platoon with Booker in Week 16 against the Chiefs.

Justin Forsett rushes six times for 17 yards in loss to Titans

Justin Forsett rushed six times for 17 yards and had three receptions for 18 yards in the Broncos' Week 14 loss to the Titans. He also lost a fumble.

Fantasy Impact

After losing a fumble on his first touch, Forsett still managed to receive more carries than Devontae Booker. With Forsett's knowledge of the Kubiak offense, he could make an impact moving forward as the Broncos could use a spark in the running game. The Broncos face the fourth-ranked rush defense in the Patriots in Week 15.
