The three-year veteran appeared in seven games for the Packers last season, tallying eight receptions for 58 yards. Winfree had been battling Samori Toure for the final WR spot on the roster.

Winfree was drafted by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft before being signed to the Packers' practice squad in October 2020. The 6'3", 210 lb wideout has hardly seen any playing time since entering the league but could become a good depth piece behind rookie wideout Amari Rodgers and All-Pro wideout Davante Adams based on his performance during OTAs and minicamp.
