Kadarius Toney
WR - KC
2023 Outlook
Andy Reid said Thursday he is optimistic Kadarius Toney will be healthy in time for the Super Bowl.
Fantasy Impact
Toney left the AFC Championship in the opening quarter and did not return. He was able to return to practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. Toney should be ready for the biggest game of the season barring any setbacks.
Kadarius Toney caught four passes for 71 yards in Kansas City's 27-24 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Kansas City has a decent wide receiver group this year, but it's still weak enough that someone could take over the top spot if they earn it. That's what Toney did on Sunday. He led the team in receiving yards, and he just overall looked like the most explosive pass-catching option for the team. It's too late for him to have fantasy value this season, but he could potentially play himself into a larger role as he continues to develop for next season.
Kadarius Toney caught one pass for eight yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
It was a quiet game for Toney, but he was able to avoid completely busting by catching a touchdown. He had only one catch on the course of the day, but fortunately for fantasy managers, it went for a touchdown. He hasn't developed into a big part of this offense and shouldn't be started moving forward.
Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was a full participant in Kansas City's practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Toney still has an injury designation for a hamstring injury that caused him to miss some time earlier this season, but he has been able to practice in full all week. It's not an ongoing issue for the young receiver, and all signs point to him being good to go for Kansas City in Week 16.
Kadarius Toney caught just one pass for five yards in Sunday's OT win over the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact
Toney was shut down on Sunday, catching just one pass on the course of the day. He didn't get many snaps overall, and that may have been a result of him missing the last few games due to a hamstring injury. He may be better when he ramps up his workload, but he's not worth a start for the time being.
