WR - DET
Week 8 Outlook
Kalif Raymond caught six receptions for 115 yards on eight targets against the Rams on Sunday.
It was a very close game thanks to the only WR that did anything on Sunday. Raymond stood out hauling in six-of-eight targets for 115 yards. The veteran WR has shinned so far being the most consistent WR on the team to this point. In four-of-five games, the veteran has seen six or more targets. He's worth an add in fantasy leagues as he's just 5.3% owned.
Kalif Raymond saw two targets but did not have a catch during Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Vikings.
For the first time this season, Raymond failed to catch a ball. The team's WR1 saw just two targets even with Quintez Cephus getting banged up. The veteran WR should see a bounce-back week next week with both Cephus and Tyrell Williams expected to miss.
Lions WR Kalif Raymond hauled in three catches for 46 yards and two touchdowns on six targets during Sunday's loss to the Bears.
Raymond was explosive on Sunday totaling two touchdowns in defeat. He and QB Jared Goff seem to have a great connection as Raymond once again lead the team in targets on Sunday. The pair get back to work next week against a struggling Vikings secondary. Raymond is worth a look in deeper leagues, he is no more than a flex play at this point.
Detroit Lions WR Kalif Raymond (thigh) caught six of 10 targets for 68 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Ravens.
It was a very active day for Raymond as he was the only WR to see more than one target. Even TE TJ Hockenson failed to see more than two targets. With Hockenson, Quintez Cephus, struggling and Tyrell Williams headed to IR, Raymond is worth monitoring in deeper leagues.
Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Raymond has now hauled in seven of eight targets for 68 yards through two games this season. If the 27-year-old is active, he will slot into the Lions' WR3 role behind Quintez Cephus and Amon-Ra St. Brown. All Detroit pass-catchers should see an increased workload with Tyrell Williams (concussion) set to miss his second consecutive game. Still, Raymond should not be started and is only worth rostering in deeper leagues.
