Keaton Mitchell suffers season-ending knee injury

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell suffered a significant, season-ending knee injury, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Fantasy Impact

Mitchell ended his rookie campaign in an unfortunate manner, and the hope is that he will recover and find success again next year. After missing the first half of his season due to injury, Mitchell appeared in seven games, carrying the ball 47 times for 396 yards and two TDs. He also caught nine passes for 93 yards. His elite efficiency brings hope that he can be even stronger in his sophomore campaign, but the exact nature of his injury is not yet clear. Justice Hill and Gus Edwards will share the backfield the rest of the way for Baltimore.

Keaton Mitchell (knee) carted to locker room, ruled out

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell was carted off the field on Sunday Night Football and was quickly ruled out with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

Mitchell was off to another solid game with nine carries for 72 yards and two catches for 15 yards. However, his night ended late in the second half. The speed at which he was ruled out brings concern, but his status likely won't be known until after a few tests. Monitor his status after the game, and RBs Gus Edwards and Justice Hill should see an increase in RB usage in his absence.

Keaton Mitchell efficient in Week 14 win

Keaton Mitchell carried the ball nine times for 54 yards and caught one pass for eight yards in Baltimore's 37-31 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Impact

Mitchell only touched the ball ten times on Sunday, but he did fairly well with what he was given. He averaged six yards per carry on the day, and it's a good sign for his future outlook that he received more touches that Gus Edwards on the day. Still, he doesn't get a high workload and likely won't be a reliable fantasy option at any point this season.
