Keelan Cole sent to reserve/COVID list

New York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole has been sent to the reserve/COVID list.

Fantasy Impact

Keelan Cole is not expected to play in Week 13, opening up an expanded role for Denzel Mims. Mims should be viewed as nothing more than a DFS flier with Zach Wilson continuing to struggle.

Keelan Cole has productive Week 4 outing in upset victory

Keelan Cole has a 54-yard reception and finished the contest with 92 scoreless yards.

Fantasy Impact

Cole was only targeted four times, but he certainly made the most of them. He caught three of them and had 92 yards. Cole is likely third or even fourth on the target hierarchy in New York, which will lead to his future fantasy production being difficult to predict. This passing attack is struggling to support one consistent receiver week-to-week and if Cole continues operating as the third or fourth weapon, his fantasy value is very limited.

Keelan Cole Sr. (knee) is officially active for Week 2

New York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole Sr. (knee) is offically active for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Cole will make his Jets debut on Sunday after missing the season opener against the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury. He was limited in practice all week, but didn’t suffer any setbacks and is all systems go for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Jets WR Jamison Crowder has been ruled out for Week 2; Cole should see an expanded role on Sunday and is expected to start alongside Corey Davis. Cole is a boom-or-bust flex option in deep-leagues, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a streamer in Week 2.

Keelan Cole Sr. (knee) questionable for Week 2

Jets WR Keelan Cole Sr. (knee) is questionable for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Jamison Crowder (groin) is also questionable. The Jets' WR corps is one to avoid outside of Corey Davis this weekend.

Keelan Cole Sr. (knee) inactive for Jets in Week 1

New York Jets WR Keelan Cole Sr. is officially inactive for Week 1, the team announced on Twitter Sunday morning.

Fantasy Impact

With Cole Sr. and Jamison Crowder both out in Week 1, Corey Davis truthers should feel comfortable starting the WR because of projected volume. Elijah Moore, however, should be in Flex consideration for fantasy gamers in deep PPR formats. The rookie WR will presumably avoid the potentially elite tandem of Donte Jackson and Jaycee Horn while working out of the slot.
