Ken Crawley leads New Orleans secondary in Week Seven win

In a contest that Baltimore attempted 39 pass plays to 23 rushing attempts, New Orleans cornerback Ken Crawly was really the only secondary player to benefit from the high pass volume in this contest. Crawley recorded six solo tackles as well as one pass defended. The next in line was free safety Marcus Williams with four combined in total tackles.

Fantasy Impact

Across the board, it was seemingly a better IDP day for the New Orleans linebacker and defensive line core when looking at the stats. In general, the secondary has struggled this season and Baltimore likely took advantage of that fact. IDP owners may want to look elsewhere for production going forward.

Ken Crawley and P.J. Williams kept busy in Week Four win

New Orleans Saints cornerbacks Ken Crawley and P.J. Williams were a big part in the win over the New York Giants Sunday. Quarterback Eli Manning attempted forty-one pass attempts but only managed to record 255 yards thru the air and one touchdown Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Their IDP owners that seen this great matchup coming for cornerbacks were rewarded with Crawley recording eight combined tackles as well as a pass defended. Williams contributed his own seven combined tackles and added a forced fumble. Both should remain viable plays per matchup as opponents attempt to keep up with Drew Brees and company thru the air.

Ken Crawley cleared to play Week 13 versus Carolina

Ken Crawley missed Week 12 with a groin injury but doesn't appear on this Fridays' injury report for the Week 13 contest.

Fantasy Impact

It's as good as news for New Orleans as it is for Crawley's fantasy owners in IDP leagues. With Marcus Williams (groin) already ruled out, Marshon Lattimore (ankle) questionable, and P.J. Williams (shoulder) a late add to the injury report and also questionable, New Orleans needs all hands on deck for this divisional contest at home against Carolina. The Panthers offer in the upper half in rankings to points allowed to cornerbacks and safeties indicating that a healthy Crawley should be in for a productive contest Sunday.

Ken Crawley (groin) is out Week 12

Ken Crawley (groin) hasn't been able to practice all week and is now ruled out for Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams. He was injured in week 11 versus Wahington.

Fantasy Impact

Owners shouldn't have a problem streaming another option for IDP purposes with the early call that he won't play this weekend.

Ken Crawley continues to impress in Week 4

Ken Crawley recorded a stat line of 4 total tackles, two pass defended, and a key endzone interception to help New Orleans defense hold Miami scoreless in Week 4.

Fantasy Impact

Ken Crawley received the start across from rookie Marshon Lattimore. P.J. Williams was benched for team disciplinary reasons. This is now two weeks in a row that Crawley has performed at a very high level and produced for fantasy owners who may have inserted him into their lineups. At this point, Crawley should be considered the default starter going forward.
