A career practice squad player, Gaskins was thrust into action due to injury and was promptly replaced by committees led by Shaun Draughn and DuJuan Harris. He is a big bruising back but has limited agility and upside.

Gaskins was stuffed for a two-yard loss and ripped off a 14-yard gain that was nearly all Gaskins' effort. He had the unfortunate distinction of having that run right before the 49ers abandoned the run entirely (three rushes in the second half). He'll have no fantasy relevance as the 49ers take on the Rams next week.

Gaskins had six catches on seven targets as he rotated with Travaris Cadet after Shaun Draughn's leg injury.

He ended the day with with 56 total yards, all through the air. If Draughn is out next week, there isn't anyone worth playing in the 49ers' backfield as the team plays out the string.
