Kendall Hinton catches two passes in Week 17 loss

Broncos WR Kendall Hinton has two receptions for 23 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact

Hinton was filling in for Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick who were out due to COVID-19. He's shifty, and a nice NFL player to have on your bench, but he holds no current fantasy value.

Kendall Hinton catches five passes in Week 6

Broncos WR Kendall Hinton has 5 receptions for 37 yards in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.

Fantasy Impact

Hinton had a decent two-game stretch, that included eight receptions and a touchdown. However, With Jerry Jeudy designated to return from IR, Hinton may have seen the last of his opportunities in Denver for now.

Kendall Hinton finds the end zone in Week 5

Broncos WR Kendall Hinton catches two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Fantasy Impact

With Denver's WR core in rough shape, Hinton stepped up and found the end zone on Sunday. Hinton shouldn't be on the fantasy radar at this point.

Kendall Hinton flames out at QB, throws 2 INT's in blowout loss

Denver Broncos QB/WR Kendall Hinton completed 1-of-9 passes for 13 yards with two interceptions in the Broncos 31-3 loss to the Saints in Week 12. He added two rushes for seven yards.

Fantasy Impact

Hinton was thrust into the starting QB role against one of the best defenses in the NFL, and it went horribly. Hinton threw two picks in nine pass attempts and did minimal on the ground. The experiment was doomed from the start, and while fantasy managers in Yahoo may have tried to exploit his position eligibility at WR, he amassed negative points. He should not be rostered or started in fantasy leagues going forward. If Drew Lock and Brett Rypien aren't cleared by next Sunday, expect the Broncos to sign a fill-in QB from the street before trotting out the former Wake Forest quarterback.

Kendall Hinton to serve as Broncos' emergency QB in Week 12 vs Saints

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirms that Broncos practice squad WR Kendall Hinton "will play plenty at QB" in Week 12 against the Saints.

Fantasy Impact

Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, and and Blake Bortles are all ineligible to play as they weren't wearing masks around COVID-positive QB Jeff Driskel. Hinton is a former Wake Forest quarterback and it'll be fascinating to see how Denver deploys him against New Orleans. It was rumored that RB Royce Freeman would be involved, and maybe he still will be, but Hinton has more recent experience at the position. Expect a heavy dose of Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay for whatever game plan the Broncos come up with. Obviously, the Saints D/ST is a high-end fantasy start.
