Nwangwu was listed as questionable due to an illness. The 24-year-old did not practice Friday, but he will suit up in the wild-card round and likely handle the bulk of the kick-return duties for the Vikings.
Kene Nwangwu rushed the ball seven times for 41 yards and caught two passes for 18 yards during the Vikings' 26-20 loss to the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
The 24-year-old second-year running back appeared in 11 games last season, rushing 13 times for 61 yards. He is battling Ty Chandler for the third spot on the depth chart behind Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison and will not hold any fantasy appeal unless multiple injuries occur.
Kene Nwangwu is expected to get more involved in the Vikings offense in Week 13 as Dalvin Cook is on the mend. Alexander Mattison will still likely get the bulk of the work at RB.
Fantasy Impact
Nwangwu is likely only going to have appeal in deeper leagues this week. However, if Zimmer is true to his work he could have some flex appeal if he is a factor in both the running and passing game, but again this is not the safest of plays.
