Kenny Pickett
QB - PIT
Steelers QB Kenny Pickett has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with Houston due to a knee injury.
Fantasy Impact
Pickett had to be helped off the field by the team’s training staff and was favoring his left leg. Pickett will finish the day 15-of-23 for 114 passing yards and one interception. Fantasy managers should expect the team to release more information after the game.
Kenny Pickett completed 16-of-28 passes for 235 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Steelers’ 23-18 win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Pickett also added 11 rushing yards on three attempts in the Steelers’ Week 3 win in Las Vegas. Pickett spread the ball around effectively, targeting seven different pass catchers. The second-year quarterback delivered a deep ball to Calvin Austin for a 72-yard touchdown to open the scoring against the Raiders. This was the first game of the season where Pickett and the offense truly looked comfortable. Fantasy managers will look for Pickett to continue his momentum in Week 4 when the Steelers take on the Texans.
Kenny Pickett completed 15-of-30 passes for 222 yards with one touchdown and one interception on Monday against the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
Pickett was sacked twice and faced a lot of pressure all night. It was not a great night for him. He finds himself in the QB2 conversation in Week 3 against the Raiders.
Kenny Pickett completed 31-of-46 pass attempts for 232 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while also rushing once for four yards in a 30-7 Week 1 loss against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Pickett struggled throughout the Week 1 contest against a stout San Francisco defensive front, averaging just 5.0 yards per pass attempt while turning the ball over twice on a day the Pittsburgh offense had few answers. The second-year signal-caller will look for more consistency in Week 2 Monday night matchup against the Cleveland Browns ahead.
Kenny Picket was near-perfect against Tampa in the Steelers' first preseason game. The young signal-caller completed six of his seven passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact
Though he only played in one series, it was enough to show fantasy owners hope in their draft investments. The Steelers passing offense was bottom of the barrel in 2022, and though it's only preseason, it's looking like Pickett is going to take a second-year leap. With the weapons he has in Pittsburgh, he looks like a solid QB2 in superflex formats or a streamer with upside in traditional 1QB leagues.
