Week 3 Outlook
Kyle Juszczyk has officially been ruled out for Week 8 against the Rams.
Juszczyk recently had surgery to repair a broken finger and was unlikely to play this week. With the 49ers bye coming in Week 9, this will give Juszczyk a couple of weeks to recover. His absence will likely impact the running game against Aaron Donald and the Rams' defense.
Kyle Juszczyk (finger) underwent surgery to repair a broken finger Monday and likely won't play in the team's Week 8 matchup against the Rams.
Juszczyk suffered a broken finger while attempting a stiff-arm in Sunday's game, and he had to get surgery to repair it. He isn't expected to be well enough to play next week, but he should be good to go after the team's Week 9 bye. He doesn't get a lot of volume himself, but losing his blocking and versatility will be tough for the Niners' offense this week.
San Franciso 49ers full back Kyle Juszczyk had a six-yard rushing score and one catch for six yards in a 31-13 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Juszczyk vultured Deebo Samuel and Jeff Wilson Jr. with a six-yard rushing touchdown early in the second quarter on Sunday. Both aforementioned players ended up scoring later on though, so no harm/no foul. Juszczyk also caught his lone target for six yards. He has no fantasy value moving forward.
Fullback Kyle Juszczyk and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms on a five-year deal worth $27M, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Juszczyk only rushed 17 times for 64 yards in 2020, but scored two touchdowns and caught 19 of his 30 targets for 2020 yards and four more touchdowns. The 17 carries and six total touchdowns were both new career-highs, but he has minimal value in most fantasy formats given his limited touches.
Kyle Juszczyk rushed one time for three yards and hauled in 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards and two touchdowns during the 49ers 20-12 win over the Cardinals in Week 16.
While doesn't receive enough volume to be an every week fantasy contributor, Juszczyk will have games like this every once in a while. He's more of a better real life weapon than he is in fantasy and it's not fun needing two scores for him to hit value. He won't be a recommended fantasy option in Week 17.
