Ladd McConkey said he expects to be "full go" for the entirety of Chargers training camp.
Fantasy Impact
McConkey was limited in spring action due to a hamstring injury, but a few months of rest and recovery seem to have been beneficial. The wideout is coming off a bit of a disappointing sophomore campaign after bursting on the scene with 1,149 receiving yards as a rookie. He will look to find more success with Mike McDaniel now calling the plays in LA.
Chargers WR Ladd McConkey said he strained his left hamstring but expects to be ready for training camp.
Fantasy Impact
McConkey had been “working through something" in recent practices and it turns out to be a strained hamstring. He'll still likely be sidelined during some practices coming up with the hope to be fully healthy by training camp in July.
Ladd McConkey was working off to the side with a trainer during practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
It is currently unclear if McConkey is dealing with anything at the start of OTAs. It will be worth monitoring at the very least.
Ladd McConkey was not at the Chargers voluntary OTAs practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Justin Herbert also did not attend. It is too early to be worried about either of them as these practices remain voluntary. The hype will be high on the Chargers offense this season with Mike McDaniel as the new offensive coordinator.
Ladd McConkey caught just one of two targets for 31 yards in the Chargers' 20-16 loss to the Texans.
Fantasy Impact
Hopefully you were not leaning on Ladd to lead you to the promised land in championship week. That was a rough performance by the second-year receiver who has been quiet over the last few weeks this season. He's going into the final week of the NFL regular season on a low note, but hopefully, he can get back on the saddle in real-life football next week and in the NFL playoffs.
