Las Vegas Raiders
TWR - LV
This Week Outlook
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Raiders' offensive line, outside of RT Trent Brown, is expected to play in Week 7.
Both the Raiders and Buccaneers produced negative COVID-19 tests this morning, which means Las Vegas offensive linemen that include Kolton Miller, Denzelle Good, Rodney Hudson, and Gabe Jackson are all in line to play against Tampa Bay. Trent Brown is the only regular starter sidelined for Week 7. For Josh Jacobs and Derek Carr, this is terrific news as the Buccaneers bring one of the league's toughest defenses, especially against the run.
The Raiders picked up their third win of the season despite allowing the Steelers to get into field goal position in the final seconds of the game on a catch and lateral pass. The team finished with one sack and one interception.
No team struggles to sack the quarterback more than the Raiders as they have just 11 sacks on the entire season. Just for comparison, Khalil Mack, in 11 games played, has nine sacks and could conceivably finish with more sacks than the entire team that he previously played for. The Raiders do have decent upcoming matchups against the Bengals (week 15) and Broncos (week 16), but their inability to get to the quarterback limits their upside at creating turnovers.
