Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Leon Jacobs tore his ACL in the team's Week 3 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football and is done for the season, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Jacobs was carted off during the first quarter on Thursday and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game. With Jacobs out, Dakota Allen and Cassius Marsh figure to see more snaps, though the team could look to add outside help, as well.
Leon Jacobs was able to get a long look over the offseason due to a Blair Brown injury. Jacobs has capitalized and is set to start at SLB for the Jaguars this year.
The SLB role is typically not the most productive role for IDP purposes. Jacobs figures to come off the field in nickel packages and may need an injury to fellow starters Myles Jack or Telvin Smith to make a big impact in fantasy.
