WR - FA
Week 14 Outlook
Leonte Carroo caught one of his two targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 12 loss to the Colts.
Carroo's stat line looks good, but two targets won't get it done on a weekly basis. No need to bother picking up Carroo based solely on this week -- wait to see it again first. More likely than not, Carroo won't be reliable down the stretch.
Leonte Carroo was signed off the Dolphins' practice squad.
The team is short on WRs coming off injuries to Albert Wilson and Kenny Stills. As a result, Carroo gets a shot. He's been fantasy relevant as a former third-rounder in 2016, but he's failed to deliver so far. He'll likely be used as the team's fourth WR Thursday against the Texans.
The Miami Dolphins waived 2016 third-round wide receiver Leonte Carroo, who caught just 10 passes in two seasons with the club. After spending big money on Danny Amendola and Albert Wilson, Carroo's roster spot was in jeopardy and he was unable to make enough plays in the preseason to make the team.
Carroo has good size and is still just 24-years-old. He's battled injuries but will undoubtedly get another NFL shot, perhaps by joining a team's practice squad.
Leonte Carroo was not targeted in the Dolphins' 27-24 loss to the Raiders Sunday night.
Carroo is not a factor for fantasy this season.
Leonte Carroo brought in six of eight targets for 48 yards in the Dolphins' 40-0 loss to the Ravens Thursday night.
Carroo saw solid volume in the blowout loss but remains a tertiary option in the Miami offense limiting his fantasy appeal.
