Lil'Jordan Humphrey
WR - FA
This Week Outlook
The New England Patriots have cut veteran WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
Humphrey has been on and off of the team since the off-season, and New England has opted to cut him once again. There's a chance that he sneaks back onto the practice squad later in the year, or he could also choose to sign with a different team.
Lil’Jordan Humphrey was waived by the Patriots Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Humphrey was active in three games this season, recording two catches on four targets for 20 yards. The versatile wide receiver may be a candidate to be signed to a practice squad if he clears waivers.
Lil'Jordan Humphrey was promoted to the 53-man roster to take the place of Ty Montgomery who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Humphrey was elevated from the team’s practice squad in Week 1 but he did not factor into the stat sheet. Humphrey did work on special teams during training camp and could be set to fill in for Montgomery on kick returns. The 24-year-old will not carry any fantasy value unless he begins to see snaps on offense.
The Patriots have promoted Lil'Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad for Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Humphrey received rave reviews from the coaching staff during training camp and the preseason. The 24-year-old was working as a WR, a TE, and on special teams to provide some additional roster flexibility. The promotion of Humphrey should lend Mac Jones another receiving option for their Week 1 matchup with Miami.
After previously being released by them, Lil'Jordan Humphrey signed with the Patriots practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
Humphrey racked up 140 yards and a touchdown on 13 receptions with New England in the preseason. He saw a little playing time with the Saints the last couple of seasons. He'll be an insurance receiver on the practice squad for the Patriots.
