Logan Woodside turns in solid performance Friday

Logan Woodside completed 14 of his 23 passes for 146 yards and added five rushing yards in a win over Miami.

Fantasy Impact

Woodside was the only Falcons’ quarterback to see action in Week 1 of the preseason. The 28-year-old has only three regular season pass attempts and figures to slot in as the third quarterback on the Atlanta depth chart.

Logan Woodside elevated to active roster for Week 9

Logan Woodside has been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday night's matchup with the Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact

If Ryan Tannehill is inactive for Sunday, Woodside would slide in as the backup quarterback to Malik Willis. With Tannehill tagged as a game-time decision, the Titans had to reinforce their quarterback room. Woodside has yet to throw a pass this season and is not a fantasy relevant player as of now.

Logan Woodside brought on to the Titans practice squad

The Tennessee Titans added QB Logan Woodside to their practice squad Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Woodside has spent the last two seasons with the Titans but was replaced as the backup by Malik Willis. Woodside will now provide the Titans some insurance should something happen to their two QBs on the 53-man roster.

Logan Woodside completes 10 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown vs. Falcons

Tennessee Titans QB Logan Woodside completed 10-of-15 pass attempts for 85 yards and a touchdown during a 23-3 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Friday.

Fantasy Impact

Woodside is entering his second season in the league and looked very good on Friday, throwing completions from the pocket with ease. The former University of Toledo quarterback led the Titans on a short drive following a turnover by the defense, tossing a 15-yard touchdown to WR Cameron Batson. He looked to be the better of the two back-up Titans quarterbacks against the Falcons on Friday, as Matt Barkely also threw a 12-yard touchdown but was bailed out on a penalty after throwing back-to-back incompletions.
