LB - NYG
Week 2 Outlook
As feared, New York Giants LB Lorenzo Carter will miss the rest of the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Carter was one of the lone bright spots on the Giants' struggling defense. In his third year out of the University of Georgia, Carter looked to be developing into a nice situational pass-rusher. This a huge blow to a defense that already has serious issues getting to the opposing quarterback. If possible, the New York D/ST should be avoided in fantasy.
Lorenzo Carter recorded one solo tackle, one tackle for loss, and one sack in the New York Giants' Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
The talented rookie from Georgia has a bright future if he lives up to his potential. Keep him in mind as a potential stash if he flashes again.
