Emari Demercado will step up and play the RB2 role behind Javonte Williams for the Cowboys in the meantime.

He was primed to be Dallas' RB2 behind Javonte Williams, so now Emari Demercado will have to step up and play that role in Davis' likely absence for the season opener.
