The Cardinals are re-signing pass rusher Markus Golden to a two-year, $9 million contract.
And with this news, free agency has started. Golden was re-acquired for a sixth-round draft choice this past season. The 30-year-old will be joined by the recently acquired J.J. Watt this time around.

Golden is still free to negotiate with other teams around the league, but if he goes unsigned by July 22, he’ll remain a member of the Giants for the 2020 season. After four productive years in Arizona, the former 2nd round pick had a fantastic 2019 in New York, accumulating a career-high 72 tackles to go along with 10 sacks. The Giants are hopeful to have Golden back for another year.
Markus Golden ended Sunday’s loss to the Bears with four total tackles and one sack.
Golden leads all Giants with 7.5 sacks through Week 12. He should be played in deeper IDP leagues only as he is sitting at 47 total tackles during that same span.
