Marquez Callaway
WR - DEN
2023 Outlook
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, free agent WR Marquez Callaway is expected to sign with the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Callaway spent three seasons in New Orleans where he played under the Broncos' new head coach Sean Payton. In 2021, he had 46 catches, 698 yards and six touchdowns under Payton, all career-high marks. The Broncos have been reportedly shopping their WRs, which could potentially open a role for Callaway.
Marquez Callaway failed to catch his lone target in the Saints' 17-16 Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Callaway was an absolute afterthought for the Saints offense Monday night, finishing last on the team in targets on a night in which the passing attack was unable to get much going. The wideout has failed to make much of an impact on a consistent basis as part of an injury-ravaged pass-catching group and cannot be trusted coming out of the team's Week 14 bye against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15.
Saints WR Marquez Callaway caught his lone targets for 10 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
In 2021, Callaway finished as the WR43 in fantasy football and led the Saints' receiving corps with 46 receptions for 698 yards and six touchdowns. However, with Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry out again Sunday, the young WR failed to make much of the opportunity for the fourth straight week. He's best left on waivers in redraft leagues at this point.
