Marshawn Kneeland has tragically passed away at the age of 24 according to Adam Schefter.

Per a statement released by the Dallas Cowboys: “ It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning. Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.” Kneeland was selected in the 2024 NFL draft from Western Michigan by the Cowboys.

Marshawn Kneeland suffered a partially torn meniscus in the Cowboys’ win over the Steelers.

It is unclear how long Kneeland will be sidelined for, but it appears he may have avoided a season-ending injury. He is expected to have his meniscus trimmed on Tuesday at which point a more clear timetable should be provided.
