Week 17 Outlook
Mason Crosby clutch in win over Cowboys
Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby was successful on 2-of-2 field goal attempts and 4-of-4 extra point attempts in Sunday's Divisional Round Playoff win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Crosby was clutch in the closing minutes of Sunday's win over the Cowboys. He nailed a 56-yard field goal to extend Green Bay's lead to three with 1:33 remaining in regulation. And After the Cowboys answered with a game-tying field goal of their own with 35 seconds left on the clock, it seemed moments later that Crosby drilled the 51-yard game winner with time expiring. He is a top option at kicker for next week's slate of games in DFS formats.
Mason Crosby misses extra point against Lions
Mason Crosby booted a 53-yard field goal on Sunday evening and made two of his three extra point attempts.
Crosby finishes the year as one of fantasy's most productive kickers, connecting on 26 of 30 field goals with a long of 53 yards and making 44 of 47 extra point attempts. He should be one of fantasy's more desired players at the position for the 2017 season.
Mason Crosby solid as ever against Vikings
Mason Crosby nailed all five of his extra point attempts on Saturday and hit a 48-yard field goal, his only attempt of the afternoon.
Crosby was unsurprisingly productive and accurate on Saturday, putting on the kind of steady performance one expects from a veteran kicker who is part of a high-functioning offense. Start Crosby with confidence if your fantasy team competes in Week 17.
Mason Crosby busy in win
Mason Crosby had a perfect afternoon against Chicago, making good on three field goal attempts and three extra point attempts.
While Crosby's longest field goal came from 34 yards out, he had the composure to nail a game-winner and made all the routine kicks one expects to come easy for a veteran like him. Crosby continues to be a worthwhile fantasy kicking option.
Mason Crosby imperfect against Redskins
Mason Crosby completed all three of his extra point attempts this week but went 1 for 2 on field goal attempts.
Crosby's miss, his third of the season, came from just 36 yards out as he shanked the ball left. This was a disappointing fantasy performance considering how much offense the Packers needed to keep up with the Washington Redskins. While fantasy owners' frustration with Crosby is understandable, he is still worth starting as a typically reliable veteran kicker on a typically productive Green Bay team.
