Matthew Judon has joined the Bills' practice squad.

It did not take long for Judon to find a new team after being released by the Dolphins earlier in the week. The veteran pass rusher will initially join the Bills' practice squad, but he will likely be elevated to the active roster at some point in the next week or so. Morgan Fox has been released in a corresponding move.

Judon had not made much of an impact for the Dolphins' defense this season, recording 19 total tackles, including one for loss, three QB hits, and one pass defense across 13 games. Given his track record, however, it seems likely the four-time Pro-Bowler will catch on with another team soon.

Judon signed with the Dolphins on Tuesday. He hit the practice field for the first time with this new team Wednesday. The four-time Pro Bowler spent last season with the Falcons, recording 41 tackles with 5.5 sacks and one interception. The Dolphins are hoping the nine-year veteran can make an impact on the defensive side of the ball for them this season.

The Dolphins are expected to sign veteran edge Matthew Judon to a one-year deal.

Judon appeared in 17 games with the Falcons last season. He'll add veteran experience to the Dolphins defensive line.

There was some concern earlier in the week that Judon would miss Sunday's game because of a hamstring injury, but he has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4. That's a big boost for Atlanta's defense in a tough divisional matchup against the Saints.
