CB - LAC
This Week Outlook
Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Chargers are resigning CB Michael Davis to a three year deal.
After releasing Casey Heyward just a few days ago, the Chargers have agreed to re up stand out corner Michael Davis. Last season, Davis played all 16 games in way to scoring a pick six while recording three interceptions and 64 tackles. The terms of the contract have yet to be announced.
Michael Davis officially signed his contract tender with the Chargers on Sunday.
Davis will make $3.3 million this season and will likely be in the mix for the CB2 role opposite shutdown corner Casey Hayward in 2020. He recorded 39 tackles with two interceptions across 12 games in 2019. Davis doesn't really hold much value in IDP leagues, but does bolster an already loaded Chargers' secondary.
