DT - Baltimore Ravens
Michael Pierce has decided to opt out of the 2020 football season.
Pierce was a big off-season move for the Vikings during free agency. He is considered a high-risk player due to prior respiratory issues. The Vikings now have a big hole to fill up front after losing Linval Joseph to the Chargers in free agency and now with Pierce opting out. They could be a defense to attack early in the season.
Ravens DT Michael Pierce (ankle) is doubtful for Week 12 against the Rams.
It'll be his second straight missed game. His absence is a slight upgrade for Todd Gurley and the LA offense.
Baltimore Ravens rookie defensive tackle Michael Pierce sacks Josh McGown during Sunday's 25 - 20 win against the Cleveland Browns. His huge, 339 pound undrafted tackler out of Sanford is a hard hitting player that has no mercy on quarterbacks.
Pierce got one tackle and two quarterback hits on Josh McGown. He joined in with defensive ends Brent Urban and Timmy Jernigan who continued to crush the quarterback, causing injury to McGown's left shoulder.
