Week 15 Outlook
Availability
The Bengals and safety Michael Thomas have agreed to terms on a one-year contract for 2023.
Fantasy Impact
While the terms of the deal were not made available yet, the Bengals are bringing back an important veteran presence in their secondary. Thomas suited up in 12 games for the Bengals last season and should continue to see time at safety in 2023.
Houston Texans S Michael Thomas will undergo surgery to repair a torn pectoral.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas apparently played through the injury in Week 10 but is now going to be forced to miss time as he'll get surgery to repair his pectoral tear. The Houston defense was already porous, and losing Thomas will only upgrade the Patriots' skill positions and Cam Newton in Week 11.
Saints WR Michael Thomas caught five receptions for 29 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas will finish the year with 1,405 yards receiving, a new Saints record. Joe Horn previously held the mark with 1,399 yards back in 2004. Despite being one of the only top Saints' players active, he only put up a pedestrian 5/29/0 line, which is to be expected with Teddy Bridgewater under center. Thomas will look to get going in January when it counts.
This will be Thomas' third season with the Dolphins. The team lost Thomas last season to a pectoral injury he suffered during the November against the Chargers. He is a special teams leader and is used in Miami's nickel and dime packages.
Fantasy Impact
The Dolphins secondary is going to be a work in progress during the off season. Cortland Finnegan is gone, nickel back Jimmy Wilson and safety Louis Delmas are free agents. There may be an opening for Thomas to expand his role in 2015.
