Mike Iupati
OL -
2024 Outlook
Seattle Seahawks G Mike Iupati has been ruled out for Week 7's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals due to a back injury.
Fantasy Impact
Iupati's missed the past two games for Seattle with a back injury and he'll miss a divisional matchup against the Cardinals on SNF. He'll hope to make a return in Week 8.
Seattle Seahawks G Mike Iupati is listed as inactive against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Iupati will miss Sunday's contest with knee and back issues that plagued him throughout the week. The ten-year veteran left guard will be replaced by Jamarco Jones, a fifth-round pick from 2018 by the Seahawks. Iupati's absence slightly downgrades Seattle's skill players but fortunately, the Vikings defensive line play has been less than stellar this year.
Veteran LG Mike Iupati has agreed to a one-year deal to return to Seattle in 2020.
Fantasy Impact
Iupati was drafted in the first round of the 2010 draft by the 49ers and played five seasons with them before joining the Arizona Cardinals, where he spent four years. Iupati, who’s played 10 years in the NFL, spent 2019 with the Seahawks, protecting their most valuable asset, QB Russell Wilson. Iupati has started 129 out of 130 games played in his NFL career.
Mike Iupati (foot) practiced Friday and is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's season opener against the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact
Iupati practiced Friday, but it remains to be seen if he will suit up on Sunday. Ethan Pocic would presumably fill in for him at left guard if he is unable to go.
